Do

  • Word process your project. You are awarded marks for spelling, punctuation and grammar

  • Give all your graphs, maps and sketches etc. titles

  • Ask your teacher for guidance if you are struggling

  • Complete your coursework

  • Read through your coursework once it is complete. Check and correct any mistakes you identify

  • Use a range of geographical techniques when collecting data

  • Use a range of appropriate techniques when presenting data

  • Include all your original fieldwork data in your project. It does not matter what state it is in. It is evidence that you completed the field work.

Don't

  • Leave your coursework until last minute! It is usually worth 20-25% of your final GCSE

  • Copy the work of any one else. You may be withdrawn from the exam!
